This Cavalry M1873 commemorates the Battle of Little Big Horn. In this battle LTC George Custer lead his 7th Cavalry troops in an ill-advised attack against Sitting Bull's Sioux warriors to force them back to their reservation. Outnumbered 3 to 1 and fighting in unfamiliar terrain Custer's troops were decimated. This battle occurred at the height of Indian defiance and potency in the campaign to concur the Western frontier. This commemorative replica gun is dated June 25 1876 and features silver-finish grips with engraved scenes of the deadly battle. The pistol has a silver finish with gold finish on the rotating cylinder. This is a cavalry model military collectible has a 7.5" barrel.
